PAYMENT & REFUND TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Gourmet Bakery — Mobile Application Published: April 14, 2026

These Payment & Refund Terms and Conditions ("Refund Terms") apply to all orders placed through the Gourmet Bakery mobile application and form part of our Terms of Use. By placing an order, you agree to these terms in full.

  1. Gourmet Bakery accepts two payment methods: Cash on Delivery (COD) and Online Payment processed securely via the Payment Gateway (swichnow.io), supporting Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, PayPak), Mobile Wallets, and Bank Transfers.

  2. Refund requests will only be considered if: (a) the item delivered is materially different from what was ordered; (b) the product is visibly damaged, spoiled, or contaminated upon delivery; (c) the order was never delivered despite confirmed dispatch; or (d) for online payments only — a duplicate charge, failed transaction, or unauthorized transaction occurred as defined under SBP EFT Regulations 2018.

  3. All refund requests must be submitted within 2 hours of delivery by contacting our support team with your Order ID, photo/video evidence, and a brief description of the issue. Requests submitted after 2 hours will not be entertained under any circumstances.

  4. Refunds will not be issued for: change of mind after payment, dissatisfaction with taste or texture (subjective preference), cancellation after preparation has begun, failed delivery due to customer unavailability after two attempts, or incorrect address provided by the customer.

  5. For COD orders, no cash refunds will be issued under any circumstances. Eligible refunds will be settled exclusively as App Store Credit or a Replacement Order of equal value, at Gourmet Bakery's sole discretion. Store credit is non-transferable and has no cash value.

  6. For Online Payment orders, approved refunds will be reversed to the original payment method (card, wallet, or bank account) through the Payment Gateway within 7–10 business days from approval. Gourmet Bakery is not liable for delays caused by , issuing banks, or card networks once the refund is initiated. processing fees are non-refundable.

  7. Order cancellations are only permitted before the order is accepted. Once accepted and preparation has begun, no cancellation or refund will be processed. All permitted cancellations must be confirmed by our support team in writing.

  8. In the event of a failed or duplicate online transaction where your account was debited but the order was not confirmed, Gourmet Bakery will investigate within 2 business days. If confirmed, a full refund will be initiated. Customers are advised to wait 24 hours before raising a dispute, as some transactions reverse automatically.

  9. Partial refunds may be granted at Gourmet Bakery's sole discretion where only part of an order was incorrect or damaged.

  10. Customers are strongly encouraged to contact Gourmet Bakery before initiating a chargeback with their bank. Unjustified chargebacks for valid, fulfilled orders may result in temporary or permanent account suspension and recovery of the disputed amount through legal channels. Gourmet Bakery will provide all transaction records to and the relevant financial institution as evidence.

  11. Gourmet Bakery shall not be liable for any delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, power outages, government restrictions, banking system failures, or platform downtime.

  12. Gourmet Bakery's decision on all refund and dispute matters shall be final. In the event of any conflict between these terms and any promotional or marketing material, these Refund Terms shall prevail.

  13. Gourmet Bakery reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the application constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
